ive tried everything else, the relay was a bit corroded,pulled it apart cleaned it up seems to have made a big improvement.The problem with starting is the engine labours to turn over and then it comes good and you get good strong cranking.Will put in a new relay and see if its better

think i got it sussed had a crook ignition relay

have a ke20 have problems with erratic starting have good battery ,good coil chaecked all electric plugs starter moter.motor is a 5k with 5 speed manual all stock.motor is out of i believe toyota hiace.Once started runs fine.NEW ALTERNATER good points new eath leads,really frustrated.
