spotted this fine piece of modified automobile goodness today. :)

bought a JDM T50 and i'm buying a T18 diff sometime this week. then all i need is fuel pump and hydraulic clutch. and engine crossmember. any suggestions for fuel pump?

you didn't look too happy to be stuck in the traffic. same as me, haha.

rough estimate from what i've researched 4age - $800 (varies depending on what comes with it) T50 - $300 AE71 crossmember - no more than $100 (shouldn't be at least) tailshaft from AE71 - no more than $150 then you will have to think about diff upgrades, brake and suspension upgrades, fuel systems, tuning, wiring, labour. etc etc etc hope this helped, and good luck with the project :bash: edit - also, correct me if i'm wrong, but that looks to me like an ae71 wagon? high roof, slanty front. double check, if it is an ae71 wagon, the conversion will be a lot easier !

where should i go to get the mounts welded onto a T series diff? i spose it makes sense just to go T series, that way i can just use a tailshaft from an ae71 and there are LSDs that fit in etc.

yeah, there's a cheap hilux diff that i might throw in there, would be easier than anything else because hiluxes are leaf spring too aren't they? haha, buy mine off me when it's finished man. always cheaper to buy a car that's already been modified, but it never feels the same as building one up yourself !

those little kei cars are sick man, definitely put up a ride thread haha. yeah, every few days i consider ripping all the good shit out, selling it as a stock wagon and then buying a ke sedan registerable shell. but i think i'll stick with the wagon, finally committed to an engine now so i might as well commit to the car haha.

UPDATE was tossing up whether to sell it or whether to keep it, decided to keep it and work on it. deposit made on a JDM RWD 16V 4AGE picking up a T50 tomorrow. any of the wagon blokes 4AGE'd their car before? what's the go for tailshaft/diff options?

nah i hate those black strips, that's why i took them off ;) a bit over quadlights, they seem to be the new thing, so i might go about sourcing a DX front to mix it up a bit. cheers mate

should probably update this haha. now has AJPS coilovers in the front new bushes throughout everything. keep having to fix things, so haven't done much work to it. keep getting cold feet and think about selling it. anyway, some photos. got a tsurikawa and a dildo shifter too haha. pretty flower ;) this is my car and andrushenko's, the guy who commented just before plans ! nice wheels for the back (work equip 01s hopefully) reset and stiffened leaves new rear shocks. and i'll be happy for a while! let me know what you think.

spotted absolutely overrated looking ke70 wagon, baby blue heading towards mawson lakes along the southern expressway also spotted a nice looking red ke70 sedan, gave you the thumbs up and you beeped me haha

not a rolla, but spotted RA28GT in the mazda wagon good chatting to you mate
