3k Head On 4k (sorry 2 Revisit)

i have looked around the forums for about 2 hours and didnt find anything useful for what i want to know ... so plz answer these q's

 

i have a slightly worked 4k with a 5 speed on it. i want to put either a ported or non ported (which would be better?) 3k head on it and i want to know if i go through with this, am i going 2 blow up my motor. also am i going to get any head aches later on from needing new valves or anything for running it on straight unleaded.

 

i only want straight answers that don't trail off anywhere

1. Ported head will always flow better.

2. You wont blow up your motor if you use a sensible compression ratio.

3. They can handle straight unleaded anyway. They have hardened valve seals.
