My Parts Ke70 I Bought Today For 4k+ 4 Speed

after getting shafted on ebay with my new project i decided to pick up a parts car a 84 model corolla csx for running gear to go into my ke30 2 door yay ive got myself a hi cam 4k+ 4 speed manual should be vast improvement on my current 3k 2 speed auto with blown headgasket anyway ;) all leftover parts will be sold very very cheap make me an offer on what you want

 

also is the funny looking electronic ignition box marked optospark 500 factory or aftermarket and is it worth using or are good old points better as ive never seen one of these before but then again ive never looked at ke70s before

It is for your ignition system some of the older cars (eg the vk commodore) had a separate electronic control module for your distributor not sure if yours is factory or not but all i did with mine was throw in an electronic ignition (HEI) and threw the rest out as it ran better.

cheers i think i might get rid of the electronic setup aswell as i prefer to keep things simple and easy to work on
