c budge Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 hi all i'm doing a 3t conversion in my ke55 and i was thinking about what i'm going to do in the future and what i will do. i was think of going a 4age and i was wondering what i would have to do. i have made my cross member up to fit a 3t i moved it for woods 30mm and i have done my clutch and i have a t50 box. so what will i have to do to make a 4age to fit Quote
Des Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 I don't know if a 4age will fit into a 3t crossmember but if it doesnt fit you will need to remake your current crossmember or buy another one and cut that up. You say you've done your clutch does that mean you have put in a hydraulic clutch master and slave cylinder ? Quote

jamesrolla Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 your engine mounts will need to be changed to suit the 4age, the t50 you got for the 3t will need a different bellhousind and another tail shaft i beleive, if the celica pedal box doesnt fit you will have to modify the stock one to suit aswell, also when you put you slave cylinder in for the hydraulic clutch you will have to move your speedo cable aswell because it goes right through hole thats there for a cylinder Quote
