Ok time for another question

 

Will an ex TA22 T50 gearbox bolt up to my 4A series engine with the bell housing from my T40

gear box that i have in the car now, i'm not sure if the shifter will line up in the tunnel or if the bell housing will fit?

 

I know that i'll need a different tailshaft as the 5 speed is a longer box but i just need to know if the box will fit before i buy it.

if you read any of my posts you will see that the celica t50 WILL mate to a 4A bellhousing with NO issues, and there is NO difference in the input splines like some seem to think, and AFIAK the t50 and t40 are the same length as they were interchanged in the LT and ET celicas
