When I push the clutch in on my DX, to stop at the lights, it just seems to die. I have to pull the choke on it a bit to make it idle, but after ive pulled the choke out it will idle again without dieing... do you guys have any idea what is causing this? :lolcry:

Yeah, you need to up the idle on the car so it doesnt die.

 

When was the last time it had a service and tune?

mine does the same thing man, i fixed up the timing which helped it a little but sometimes still does it, though i havent had a service in ages. so I'm due for a fine tune and service which will fix everyhting up

It went to the garage and got fixed last time but now its started to do it again :lolcry:

Oh, check all your vacuum hoses too.

 

If any are split or have come off your car will stall due to not holding any vacuum.

I'm guessing vacuum leak..?

electronic ignition or points?, if it's points they may have closed up.
