Des Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 Hey Hey, I'm trying to research what cam profiles are suited more to a 4agze with a sc14 running 11 pound. So far i have found that the bigport 4agze cams have 232 degrees duration and 7.1mm of lift which is the same as stock smallport 4age, Stock 4age bigports have 240 degrees duration and 7.56mm of lift. Mattysshop on Ae86dc said you can notice a difference between the 232 degree and the 240 degree cams but i don't know how much of a difference it would make ? I'm thinking of just going 4age bigport cams but i want to know how much of a difference first. I alsp have part numbers from mattysshop: 232's - intake 13501-16030 232's - ex 13502-16020 240's - intake 13501-16010 240's - ex 13502-16010 Any opinion is welcomed. Quote
Des Posted April 3, 2007 Author Report Posted April 3, 2007 You can feel a slight difference. They also have more lift 232, 7.1mm and 240, 7.56mm. ^^from mattysshop^^ Quote
ancullen Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 If I had got my act together and installed the bigport cams I've got sitting around I might be able to tell you, but as they're sitting wrapped up on a shelf, I can't. I may not ever install them either, as I'm looking into other cam options (eg. Crower 276-degree 9.4mm lift intake cam and 280-degree 9.9mm lift exhaust cam). Quote
