Thanks. I just had a look on ebay for some chokes. $50/pair brand new custom made so far. Failing that, i may buy another set and swap the chokes with my current ones. Anyone know where to purchase individual chokes?

My head has the numbers '***010' cast into it which the FAQ suggests its a 3K bigport head. Regardless, it has been well worked over, and the measurements of the valves were just a rough measurement from when i had the head off the car.

 

So i'm pretty sure i will be getting two different profiles ground on seperate cams (same postage etc, and will save time if i chew up another cam). Am thinking the main one will be a 40-71 71-40 with 0.471" lift. The backup will be bigger, just for curiosity (43-72 83-31) 294 and 298 duration. I have ordered 16 lifters, so i'm well and truely covered.
