Des Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 Check around the button on the steering wheel and the connector ring behind the wheel. Quote
kangaroosa Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 (edited) I had a similar problem years ago. The Metal plate behind the steering wheel was warped. The spring loaded plunger that contacts the plate was also worn down. So the connection was being broken as the wheel was rotated. From memory i just straightened the metal plate, and replaced the spring loaded plunger. Not sure if the plunger is fixed solid to indicator stalk assembly though. I may have just replaced the whole stalk assembly. Edited May 1, 2007 by kangaroosa Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 Just about every corolla I have ever driven has this problem. Just deal with it, or wire in your own seperate horn button, that way you know it will work Quote
