Ke55 Fuel Sender Leaking

Featured Replies

hey guys got my rolla registered this morning filled it to the brim and went for a drive, then i smelt fuel so i went home and had a look and fuel is pissing out of the fuel sender where it sits in the top of the tank, i was wondering is it supposed to have a o ring or gasket it sits on? i have taken it off and bashed it into the holes with a long screwdriver and hammer but it still leaks..

Cheers

Hi there mate, i hate fuel troubles! lol! yes there is suppose to be a rubber 'O' ring that sits between the sender and the tank, obviously when the sender is pulled out of the car, you can see where it sits on the underside of the sender! roughly 2.5 inches in diametre. hope this helps!
