Twin Solex Problems

ok well i have just fitted 2 side draft solex carbs to my 2t,

 

the problem I'm having is the fuel isn't getting into them, i have took the hose off and blew thru the pipe that fuel goes threw to both carbs but nothing is happening,

 

can any one help me as i need to get this car going pretty soon?

We had a few problems like that at work with a diesel landcruiser what we ended up doing was pressurising the tank with an air blower with a few rags to seal it in the filler neck, while pumping the fuel filter. Might work with this as well if u can't find anything else wrong with it.

thanks for that, it was rusty shit in the line between the carbs, all good now tho
