flat out Posted June 8, 2007 Report Share Posted June 8, 2007 (edited) ok well i have just fitted 2 side draft solex carbs to my 2t, the problem I'm having is the fuel isn't getting into them, i have took the hose off and blew thru the pipe that fuel goes threw to both carbs but nothing is happening, can any one help me as i need to get this car going pretty soon? thanks casey Edited June 8, 2007 by flat out Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
billygoat Posted June 9, 2007 Report Share Posted June 9, 2007 We had a few problems like that at work with a diesel landcruiser what we ended up doing was pressurising the tank with an air blower with a few rags to seal it in the filler neck, while pumping the fuel filter.
