hotboxcivic Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 Hey guys, would anyone know the offset of the gen10 rolla? i'll be calling up toyota in the morning, but doubting they'd know.. I'm looking to get some wheels, but want to make sure the offset is right, would +50 offset be too high?!?! Quote
hotboxcivic Posted August 7, 2007 Author Report Posted August 7, 2007 just as i thought.. toyota parts specialist: "what's offset mean?" Quote
ancullen Posted August 7, 2007 Report Posted August 7, 2007 :y: Don't the standard wheels have it marked on the back somewhere? Quote
hotboxcivic Posted August 7, 2007 Author Report Posted August 7, 2007 Charlie from Bob-jane: "offset +45" :y: Quote
hotboxcivic Posted August 7, 2007 Author Report Posted August 7, 2007 :) Don't the standard wheels have it marked on the back somewhere? standard alloy's do, unfortunately i got cheap-ass steelies :y: Quote
ancullen Posted August 7, 2007 Report Posted August 7, 2007 Generally steelies have the specs on the rim on the outside of the car. Quote
hotboxcivic Posted August 14, 2007 Author Report Posted August 14, 2007 what happens when you get a higher offset than standard? Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted August 14, 2007 Report Posted August 14, 2007 what happens when you get a higher offset than standard? You're more likely to scrub the inside of the rim/tyre on the struts. Plus, the wheels won't have as much "dish" Quote
hotboxcivic Posted August 15, 2007 Author Report Posted August 15, 2007 (edited) would a higher offset of 10 make a huge difference? i have 45+ offset thinking of a rim that only comes in 55+ offset, same 16x6.5. Edited August 15, 2007 by hotboxcivic Quote
