ancullen Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 There's discussion about that in the Off Topics/Jokes area.

Pure-SX Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 On wednesday's 9pm, ABC has a bunch of sick shows on Wednesday nights
Pure-SX Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 Rofl, just seen that they got 3 SUV's and 2 motorbikes, through 2 security checkpoints, they got f@$kING WAVED THROUGH FFS, they got caught when they were leaving lol.
ancullen Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 As stated, there is discussion in the Off Topic/Jokes area - if you want to discuss the Chaser arrests, that is the place to do it. I have been informed that there have been complaints made about the NT having this General Discussion area. I'm not certain what the exact complaints are yet, but I have a strong feeling that they are probably about the spam that has been occuring of late. It would unfair to let us spam away while other areas are restricted from such activities. This is why the Fast Reply was removed, and also why the posts in the NT section no longer count towards your post counts. Unless the area improves, there is a strong possibility that I'll have to close the General Discussion area and only allow NT specific threads in the NT section. I'd prefer to avoid this happening, as the recent discussion has been good - but the spamming has to stop. So rather than posting three posts in succession, use the Edit feature, so everything you have to say ends up in one post. I'm guilty of this too, and will be cleaning my own act up too. You can still all feel free to post, but don't just post for the sake of posting. If you have something completely random to chat about, do it in the general Off Topic/Jokes section. If you want to talk about future get togethers/events that's fine for the NT section. There can be a certain level of off topic, but don't stray too far from the original intention of posts. For instance, in the Future Events thread, discussion has strayed to talk about go-karts. This is fine, as we intend to go kart racing. A bad example is Shane and I talking about racing, and Stephen starts talking about how much he loves Barbie dolls and wearing dresses & make-up. See what I mean? I hope none of you take this badly, and if you have any queries or comments, feel free to PM or email me.
Pure-SX Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 (edited) omfg its on Adam, wtf barbies? Anyway yeah I admit it was getting a little out of hand, I myself am hugely guilty of this, didn't realise it was getting serious. Sorry. On another note picked up the EFI tank off of super s13, looks sweet as just got to figure out what I need. Edited September 7, 2007 by Pure-SX
Guest Sbox Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 (edited) I spotted another AE86 in overrated speck yesterday on Dickward Drive, metallic bronze with standard looking wheels that were just a bit fatter than normal. Very straight, looked good. Er this is on topic, right? Edited September 7, 2007 by Sbox
ancullen Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 Anyway yeah I admit it was getting a little out of hand, I myself am hugely guilty of this, didn't realise it was getting serious. Yes, you were. :P I spotted another AE86 in overrated speck yesterday on Dickward Drive, metallic bronze with standard looking wheels that were just a bit fatter than normal. Very straight, looked good. Er this is on topic, right? Very funny. I hadn't seen any bronze ones getting around up here before. It might be new to the NT.
Pure-SX Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 (edited) Always had a thing for the hachi's, pity they are crazy overpriced. I feel bad posting now  Does anyone know of anyone up here that has fabricated a nice turbo manifold? Edited September 7, 2007 by Pure-SX
ancullen Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 As I said, don't feel bad about posting. Most of your posts have been fine, it's just that we all get a bit silly & carried away at times and end up spamming. Hachi-Roku's are cool. I wish I'd looked for one when I first bought a car, but I got overly keen and bought my Accord. An AE86 actually would have been affordable then, as it was before Initial D became known over here (I bought my first car in 2001).
Pure-SX Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 If I ever get a project car, wouldnt mind picking up a stocker, building it up would be fun. As we all know they can be quite good all rounders. At this point in time, I will most probably continue with the ae82. Getting a family friend to give me a quote for a respray **cough cash** along with getting bodykit(front lip and sideskirts) fitted. After that probably look at getting suspension/brakes soughted out and then possibly strat purchasing parts for some engine work. Who knows, might happen might not to early to say lol. On another note, who will be competing at the motorkhana, actually competing? I will be there competing   with my 17's :P
ancullen Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 I'll be there competing on my 17's too. Except I'm not going to bitch about it. Plus 17" tyres can be bought as cheaply as $150/tyre, so their not as expensive as I thought. Or I can get them for $100 each off eBay, brand new. :P I want 15's that will fit the Celica!!! Then I can almost afford semi-slicks!
wasfishing Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 that ae86 was in at sickunits my dad had to move it when he dropped my car off last time ill be competeing if these rism fit if not ill be crying
ancullen Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 You WILL be competing - regardless of whether you get skid rims or not.
