Redwarf Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 (edited) I've inverted the main spring, added an 8mm leaf and reset the others. Gave me 70mm of drop in the rear on a 25. This is about as low as any sane individual would want to go. Oh, and buy some DECENT shocks, you'll need them. Lowering blocks blow chunks. Edited December 15, 2007 by Redwarf Quote
Sinate Posted December 16, 2007 Author Report Posted December 16, 2007 just put second to top leaf on the bottom and attained a 2inchs ish drop possibly slightly more. Quote
Redwarf Posted December 16, 2007 Report Posted December 16, 2007 I'll put up photo's of my low leaf pack tonight or tomorrow if you like. Quote
Sinate Posted December 16, 2007 Author Report Posted December 16, 2007 I'm doing the other side with the top 2 leafs will show pics and pics with it in car. Thanks thatll be great. Quote
greenmac80 Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 This set up worked for me..... handles sooo much better. 3inch blocks then the helper springs. the rear is hard as hell and i don't seem to get much 'Tramp'. Also if i get defected the blocks are pretty easy to take out and you can leave the helpers there as they aren't illegal and are akin to adding extra leaves and/or resetting and waaay cheaper Also the harder you do up the helpers the stiffer the ride so essentially you have adjustable suspension. and if you loosen them the car drops another inch or so! philbey Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 (edited) adjustable. not quite - you have adjustable spring rate and stock underdamped struts hahaha! Edited January 10, 2008 by philbey Quote
