demuire Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 How hard is this to make? Is there any rocket science to it? It's just a big metal ring with 2 tabs welded to it to bolt to the floorpan right? How big should the loop be? I believe Jamie has one? Where did you get it from? Quote
Super Jamie Posted November 14, 2004 Report Posted November 14, 2004 sometimes guys just make a U shaped piece of metal and bolt that to the floor, an upper just stops the floorpan getting chopped up if the front uni lets go. i got mine from sydney speed supplies 02 9607 2299 it was $40 Quote
demuire Posted November 14, 2004 Author Report Posted November 14, 2004 Hmm, $40 doesn't sound too bad. I wonder how much postage would be? Or maybe someone in Brisbane sells them too... Quote
demuire Posted November 14, 2004 Author Report Posted November 14, 2004 Yes, a friend of mine running a 20V 4AGE KE35 in 3J pretty much ruined his gearbox and diff, and damaged his rear suspension as well when he pole vaulted it down the track... Quote
