Marty k Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 Hi all I brought a Momo steering wheel and boss kit the other day, looks great but when I went to put it on it's not an exact fit. The boss kit fits the spline on the steering column, but doesn't go all the way on and doesn't hit the connectors on the column. I think i was sold the wrong boss kit and wondering if anyone out there has a Momo boss kit fitted on their KE30 so I can get the item code off it. The boss kit code I was sold was 7711, don’t think it is correct. Is anyone able to help me out? Cheers Quote
cuzzo Posted December 25, 2007 Report Posted December 25, 2007 can't help you with codes but a st141 corona boss kit will fit too. :y: Quote
Marty k Posted December 27, 2007 Author Report Posted December 27, 2007 Thanks, i'm still not 100% sure i've been sold the correct one just waiting for the store to reopen. Quote

Fits on the shaft, correct with the splines and all just not the depth. Quote
Marty k Posted February 3, 2008 Author Report Posted February 3, 2008 Hey all Momo has advised the boss kit for a KE30 is obsolete. The correct item code was 7700. I had to get an Autoetcnica boss kit item code 7710. Thought I would pass this info on in case someone else has the same issue and needs to source a boss kit for a KE30. Cheers Quote
gslrallysport Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 Hi mate, How old was that Autotecnica Boss kit? That doesn't sound like a current Autotecnica boss kit number... I've done a couple of early corolla ones since being here, and they've all only been 3 digit numbers. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=16568 Cheers, Greg Quote
