mediumsteve Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 has any one installed a line locker on a rwd rolla before if so which brake line did u install it on? i just wanna know what works best...cheers cbf of vice grips ahaha Quote
love ke70 Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 just get more power ;) you can get proper brake line clamps (For when u take a caliper off, so u don't drain the system etc) these are good for doing the odd skid with |blink| Quote
mediumsteve Posted February 11, 2008 Author Report Posted February 11, 2008 yeh i know but I'm only fitting it for a bit of fun then might put it on another car guess what i was really asking is... if i put it on the line to the fronts then it will lock the pressure on the front like its designed to. but should i put it on the line to the rears and reverse it so that it blocks the pressure to the backs so all the pressure goes to the front when i put the brake on just wanted to now what works best guess its just a general thing Quote
love ke70 Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 id rather stop the rears working, and have control of the fronts so you can stop/move as you like Quote
oh what a nissan feeling! Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 Wow, tripple post! The original use of a line lock is for drag racing, locking your brakes on so you don't creep and 'red light'. In this cirumstance you would install it in the fronts. For burnouts it goes in the rear, usually just before the hose that drops down to the diff. ;) I guess you could put it in the fronts for burnouts, but that would be a pretty boring burnout |blink| Quote
mediumsteve Posted February 11, 2008 Author Report Posted February 11, 2008 didnt mean to post that 3 times sorry haha yeh i not sure what would be good that why I'm askin yeh I'm after it for burnouts Quote
