I can spin the gearbox around and around, but I can't pull it completely out from the engine.. just like the clutch is stuck or something.. anyone know what to do? irokin
interesting. Sounds like the input shaft is stuck. Beats me how youd manage to get it unstuck. WD40 or something but then youd stuff the clutch. Maybe hammer a few wedges around the outside, probably at least 3, and keep hammering them in evenly. David[RL]
I put a block of wood at the gap between the bellhousing and the engine and hammered it, now I got it loose :doublebird: my garage is full of engines and gearboxes, I didn't have space for the car, hehe :P If i only had a bigger garage.. ;)
