a while back i had a cannon muffler put on my stock exaust on my kay sev

 

its shitting me off bad and i swear it calls to the coppers "Defect meeee"!

 

its waiting to happen so i want it gone.

 

i reckon it'll make the car look alot cleaner to.

 

my question is will it be any quieter or make it louder?

do you mean remove the muffler completely, without replacing it? yes it will be much louder, and attract even more cops

damn! its looks ugly n its so annoying. is there any risk with welding the stock exaust back on?

no not at all, just cut off the cannon, and away you go. I had a cannon on my AE93, and the drone was was ridiculous.

Just a shame that the muffler looked so good on the car.

Take it to an exhaust shop, get them to replace the muffler with a normal sized one and ask specifically for a "sports" muffler. That will quieten it down but you'll still have a nice sound when you get up it. :P

one of my mates owns an integra type r and has a comodore muffler on it.

 

Would this benifit me in anyway to fit a different model cars muffler on my rolla?

 

sound? performance? nothing?
