19914afc
Not related to cars at all but I would every now and then put regular 91 in my motorbike as it would start easier as the 91 burns quicker than 98.
you_nes
My KE's will both get under 10l/100km around town and between 7.5 to 8.5l on the highway. And they are (poorly) carbureted dinosaurs with the aerodynamics of a brick! From what your saying, your car is getting 11ish which is not fantastic. While It's true that modern injected cars do run on a predetermined fuel map they do use a few inputs to trim that map. Particularly the AFM and O2 sensor. Might be worth getting a mechanic to check that both are working properly because if either is not then the engine will turn the fuel mixture up to protect itself. (also an exhaust leak before the O2 sensor can do the same thing) Edited May 31, 2012 by you_nes
