KE26 Wagon Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 I am doing a brake conversion that was on a previous Ke20 (now gone). It had Ke30 brakes on the front with the Ke30 hubs. what I really need to know is the bearings. I know that you have to use a Ke30 and Ke20 bearing but i can't remember which way it was e.g Ke30 inner and Ke20 outer bearing. I have tried to do a search to find but with no luck. Any help would be great. I know that the Ke55 brakes bolt on but I had the KE30 struts already. Thanks Justin Quote
Felix Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 Use ke20 bearing kits to put the ke30 discs on your ke20 struts. ke20's and ke30's share the same outer (smaller) bearing. It is the inner bearing and seal which varies between struts. Quote
KE26 Wagon Posted June 3, 2008 Author Report Posted June 3, 2008 Thanks very much, just need to go down the local spare parts shop with both hubs Thanks once again Quote
irokin Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 Same goes for every strut from KE20->KE70. Unsure about KE1x. Quote
