For those that have done the swap, can you give me some advice to go about wiring up the thing? or guid me the right direction for some info.

 

Ive done a lot of wiring before, buit i want to get some background info before i start it.

 

FWIW, the motor is a S14 SR20DE (non turbo) going into a ke70. Will i be able to run the stock tacho?

Should be able to run the stock tacho with some diode mods as they are multicoil..

 

Should be like any other engine swap, just wire the engine harness separate to the body harness that is already there.

I'm just doing a similar conversion with a sr20det... i'm paying someone i know to sort my loom out for me, hes gonna leave the trigger for tacho and trigger for fuel pump,, so when i get loom back i will try and trace those two for ya

Off the top of my head the tach signal wire is either yellow with a green trace or yellow with a red trace. I'll have to check... Should run the standard tacho but.

 

Edit: Its yellow/red. Yellow/green is veh speed.
