I have another mechanism but it does not have the plastic bushes and it also has a different motor and wiring. I am going to try and fit a rubber gromett instead. I will find out tomorrow. KE26 Wagon Posted July 22, 2008 Report Share Posted July 22, 2008 I have worked out that you can use size 8 rubber grommets from and automotive place - I got mine from spectrum rubber. These rubber grommets / o-rings will go into the wiper arm and slide over the wiper motor ball. All else that needs to be done is put a little grease on the rubber to help them rotate easily and cause less stress on the motor.
