rundell Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 Well i made a full box to put carby in for turbo put then relised the vaccum thing sticks out so i can't use it. Would it make much different if i just welded up the air filter box on top of it and used that for the inlet for the boost? or do you have to seal up the whole carby? Hopefully that makes sense and someone can help me out. Quote
Taz_Rx Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 Box around the whole carby means you don't need to make sure its perfectly sealed. If you carb is in good nick you can just put a hat on it. However I would be more inclined to just make one from scratch rather than trying to weld a thin metal airfilter housing! Quote
