Everytime I switch on the headlights in my 1979 KE55, the gauges for fuel and temperature drop to zero. I wouldn't know the first place to start when trying to fix this because there is a little issue: it's not consistent-it dosen't always happen.

 

 

As I said, i've got no idea.

 

 

Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how do i fix it?

Yeah i have a similar problem. On my 1979 ke55 when i have the lights on high beam only the fuel and temperature gauges drop right down.

 

If you are able to fix the problem, let me know how you did it.
