hey guys, thanks for the info, any ideas on how much I'm looking at for a new/ second hand starter motor fitted? I live in Brisbane.

My ke55 just randomly decided to cease starting the other day. The starter motor was making a clicking noise, but now it wont do anything. I checked the earth straps, and they are all clean. Any ideas of how to fix it, or what the problem is?

Hey, Yeah i have a similar problem. On my 1979 ke55 when i have the lights on high beam only the fuel and temperature gauges drop right down. If you are able to fix the problem, let me know how you did it. Cheers

My 1979 KE55 has a smiliar problem with the fuel and temperature gauges. When my lights are on high beam, the temp. and the fuel gauge drop all the way down to show no reading.

Yeah, my battery drains quickly aswell. If it got flodded, or just wouldnt start in the cold the battery would drain quickly. I replaced the battery thinking that would fix the dharge light issue, but i still have the same problem.

Hey, I wonder if anyone can help me... The reverse lights of my Automatic ke55 only come on when the gear shift lever is in neutural. Can anyone help? Thanks

thanks for ur response, yeah thats what i was worried it could be. Well it seems my little old rolla needs some money spent on it then, as my brake booster is gone aswell, Ohwell.

Hey, when i have the lights on at night in my ke55 the charge light comes on. The car also often stalls itself if u leave it in drive without the choke out when u are stopped at traffic lights with the headlights on. Do u have any ideas what it could be, or how to fix it?
