Hey guys,

The fan in my car won't work when switched on to LOW mode. I have tried it with the air con switched on and off, different vents etc but the same issue.

 

It does blow air when switched to Auto (climate control) and medium and high speeds.

 

Anyone want to have a guess as to what may be wrong?

sounds like the resistor pack in the fan unit is on its way out.

fan speed resister.

any idea where i would find these resistors and are they easy to replace or do i need a auto electrician for that?

might still be able to buy them at toyota. or try your luck at a wreckers

I'm pretty sure they are located under the left hand sie kick panel on the passenger side.. i know that where they are in ae80-ae82's
