This is my 1981 Ke70 Corolla, that ill slowely be doing up, Just done a few little things to it so far, Will be getting a respray In a Dark Green colour. With 17-18'' Chrome wheels (Id get them engineered), & then do up the interior & then the mechanical side of things.

 

Its going to be a slow project, As I'm saving as I'm doing it, & Its got heaps of rego, & It dosnt look to bad now.

I also put a Nice exhuast on since photo's. Enjoy.

 

Please note Last picture is when it was bought. & the next afternoon, i did Took spot lights off, the stripping & sprayed wheels black, Looks so much better.

whats with people wanting to put 18" chromies on ke70s?

theyre a disgusting looking car to look at standard form, why modify it to look even more filthy...

 

edit: not a personal attack, its your car, do what you want. you going to put suspension in it ? make it handle bit nicer?

also seems pretty overrated, much rust?

Its got a couple dents, not much rust at all.

 

I really want some thing different, i still may settle for 15'' Black wheels. Just I'm wanting some thing different. Maybe 18'' are a bit to big & heavy for the ke70, Ill just see how i go, I just really want chrome wheels, and there isnt a good selection in small wheels.

you can get chrome lip with silver centrers in 15 and 16.s

 

also in good width and offsets for around the same price if not cheaper than some overprice chinese junk that will snap under brute force.

 

i picked up some 14x7.5 -7 for $600 with tyres.

can't tell me you can find chromies for anything like double that price.

that is for 14's though.

No mods at all its all original, May put a 4age in it, but that will be years away, don't know if you can have them on your P's?

haha i meant if your planning to do any engine/driveline mods.
