Ae90/92 Cluster Conversion

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know how to convert the "NON-Tacho" cluster (Pictured below)

dsc00118di7.th.jpg

On the back is written "LOW" in the middle, and "175" at the top right.

TO the "Tacho" Cluster (Pictured below)

dsc00119js4.th.jpg

On the back is written "HI" in the middle, and "356" at the top right.

Now, the original first cluster is out of an AE90... and the second cluster has AE92 written in texta on the side (I assume from the wreckers)

the plugs are exactly the same, but where the tracks lead on the back of the cluster from each pin is different in a lot of points....

My question:

Does anyone have a conversion diagram or have they done this before?

Note: i can pull the pins out the plugs and move them if needed to avoid cutting and splicing wires....

the tracks probably would be different, look how different the designs of the dashes are, many things are in different locations

or do you mean the tracks for say, the fuel gauge on the first dash, don't go to the fuel gauge on the second dash?

i dare say you'd need a good wiring diagram/map (perhaps a haynes manual, they're usually really good) and alot of patience
