My window winders are doing the normal jam thing as I wind down. A little pressure on the glass helps. I have replaced the drivers front one before. I have two spare rear dorrs and was wondering if anyone knows if you can swap them?

 

Also, what is the best dry lube to use on the mechanism?

 

And yes, I went and bought that special tool.........

You can buy Wax sticks, They work good enough for window winders.

My drivers window winder is currently stuffed at the moment too. Gears have all been stripped some how. It'll just go up to a certain height and the winder will keep turning. Down isn't a problem most of the time.

 

Putting the rear door winders up front won't work. The front doors are a little longer and the way the glass goes down is not right from memory.
