Mr Revhead[RL] Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 how many types of 4k pistons have you guys come across? iv seen flat top and dished. now iv got a JDM 4k-e in bits in my shed at the moment... and it looks to me that while they are dished, they are not as dished as others... anyone cc'd some dished pistons before? Felix Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 here the 4k-e ones were 16cc from memory. you would have to search oldcorollas under ke1x, about 4 years ago when i put my last dished 4k together. Quote
1G-GTE KE70 Posted April 20, 2005 Report Posted April 20, 2005 i've got some deep dish chrome pistons. 15x9 i don't know why they have a ring of rubber around them but.. must be the piston ring Quote
Mr toyota 514 Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 i have just striped five 4k engines today and have found 3 different pistons. one flat and 2 different dished one set sliper type and two sets of larger dished pistons i am 99% sure the flat tops are from a corolla and the dish starlet Quote
