Gavclassic Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 Didn't know where to post this one but it does have one of my rides in it. Just came back from a road trip to Phillip Island with some freinds in a KE17 SL Sprinter, MX23 MK2 Corona and my RT72 Corona 1900 SL, we all went down to watch the historic motor racing. Our first day was Sydney to Beechworth, then to St Kilda for two nights then of to the Island for three nights. From there it was back to Cooma to visit Flynn's Wreckers then back home. We all had a great time with no major probs, we travelled about 2400kms on our trip and the old RT72 averaged about 7.5 lts per 100kms for the whole trip. That was with 2 adults one child and a boot chocked with luggage. The KE17 with 5K and 5 speed was about 6.6lts per 100kms. We travelled between 60 - 80mph on all the open roads. Quote
