Hey to every one i am ben i am only 15, 16 in 8 weeks this is my corolla

i got it of ebay for $400 it was a wreck, but i am slowly restoring it with my old man

 

there is really bad damage in the boot

but is now fixed

also rebuilding a 4af-c twincam hopefully going to put a 4age in it one day, i have got a weber carby for it and sending away the cams to be done to stage 2

 

 

have also installed a new centre console

thanks the drivers seat has a few splits in it but you really can't notice it

quick update all repairs are done just giving a final sand and when the garage is free i will be undercoating it (have to wait until my brother finishes working on my dads mates mg so i can use the garage)

i installed a new centre console with a little bit of modification to the hole for the handbrake and its fine

 

also done a lot of bodywork to it over the weekend

 

went to norhern road wreckers and got a new grill, bonnet catch and tail lights

 

and picked up a bonnet for $16 on ebay

i am gonna paint it white, we will paint it when my old man has some more time, he is flat out with work atm, it doesnt matter no need to rush

not to sure yet most likely 2pac, at the moment i am waiting on my brothers mate as he can paint the car if he can fit it in as he is really busy right now with work if not my old man will paint it in the garage he does a good job, here look at my brothers celica that my dad painted

i was browsing through ebay last night and found a corolla on there, he said the clutch is not working, so my dad rang him and offered him $200 for it he said yes so today we went to dee why to pick it up, we got it home gutted out the old corolla

 

 

took it down to norms scrap metal yard got $330 for it mistakenly, the guy that weighed it put it down as 2.2 tonnes (the weight of my dads ute) instead of 873kgs (the weight of corolla) so we made money

 

 

 

we polished the back end of the car it came up imaculate there is not 1 dent on it it was a great buy

 

 

 

my old man gave the car a polish it came up excellent, we swapped the clutch master cylinder over from the other car and it went took it rounhd the block no problems what so ever it was a great buy

 

Gee the new Corolla looks overrated Ben just like mine, its amazing how a polish can transform the appearance of a car. Is yours a 5 speed manual and does it have air conditioning. How many km's has it done, I'm looking forward to seeing the updates you do.

Thanks mate its done 189,000kms it is a 5 speed and yes it has air con i was really happy because my other rolla didn't have air con, all i wanna do is paint those bumpers white in the earlier pics, i think the white bumpers will; really make the car look better
