  1. yea not going to lie mate your seca probably wouldn't stand much of a chance in a drag.....at all. lol. yea it my biggest appeal to the car aswell you just can't go past the sleeper effect for awesomeness.\ although if/when i can afford some mat black wantanabe styled rims, it will go from grandma to jap style. ill keep yous posted
  2. Hey long time no post, the reason i havent posted it because welllll.........nothing much has changed lol. however i did get some motivation and cleaned the hell out of it, first clean since i got it, which really is pretty bad, but my god after nearlly loosing faith in the car i must say i am competley enthralled with it again, i plan to clean it up, i started by re-attaching the carpet in the corners, which worked out good, i cleaned up all wiring under the dash into looms so there are only really two looms under there now, i also installed a clock(YESSSS) and sprayed the bottom half of the dash in black to match the carpet, looks fair good for a rattle can job. to come: new cd player (single din), door trims in black, need to source 1 more good tyre to have no retreads anymore. and yea pretty much clean it up....yewwww! well here are pics of it clean hope you all like.
  3. UPDATE: got 2 new tyres to replace the worn semi slicks on the front, got some new gauges to put in inc. 4inch tacho & shift light, oil pressure, new boost gauge and probs a fuel pressure gauge, also made a new rear speaker holder which is a piece of reinforce allminium with some old beltech speakers on it, stereo doesnt bother me to much as I'm going for track over stereo and looks. Also put in lowered and stiffened springs on some EXEL-G shocks, k-mac rear springs and king fronts, will get coil overs when funds allow it. COMING UP: Flaring gaurds at home in next mont, getting the SAFC tuned and dynoed, new tyres for rear, maybe a dodgy spray on the bumbers to colour code them or just panda style it. peace
  4. i have a SAFC with a tachometer, could i wire it off that? and where would it be???
  5. its a "drift" brand one, it has a switch for it, i just need to get the signal of the negative side of the coils then do i?
  6. that is nothing short of 120% sex
  7. where do i find the signal for the tacho on a 4AGZE as i have a taco-less nova(rolla) and i wanna put one in. any help would be much appricaited cheers
  8. on an EFI car it wont start anyway with a kill switch on the fuel pump because they fuel system needs to be primed first(pressurises the system). when you stop the car (on most EFI's) the fuel pressure will drop over time so unless it gets stolen very quickly they aing going to get far
  9. thats awesome man, quite fond of these rollas, will look good when done, peace
  10. today decided to lay some coats of paint on my rocker cover intercooler and valley cover, end result is quite neat, what ya think? i think it looks good, I'm looking at tidying the engine bay up more soon aswell
  11. is that all i tell the parts place? does anyone have the part numbers
  12. does anyone know what shafts i need?
  13. mate tell me about it, plans are hidden FMIC, extractors, les restrictive rear muffler and some stiffer springs, then its out to mallala for a track day :(
