7shades Posted August 12, 2009 Report Posted August 12, 2009 About the same. Finding the weber yourself and having it reconditioned may work out to be slightly cheaper. Quote

seabiscuit Posted August 12, 2009 Report Posted August 12, 2009 (edited) You may be forgetting that the one on eBay is in US dollars. At the moment it is about 80 US cents per 1 Australian Dollar. $300 + 20% = $360 AUD (then you need to pay shipping). = Not worth it :P If you were to buy your own weber, you could buy one in quite poor to average condition for no more than $50-100. Just recently I got a quote from a carb specialist to completely recondition a 32/36 for $200 and jetted/choked to suit! $50-100 + $200 + $50 = $300-350 AUD = Worth it! :rolls: EDIT: Adapter plate costs new about $40-$50 or 2nd hand can find them for about $10-$30! seabiscuit Posted August 12, 2009 Report Posted August 12, 2009 I'd rather spend an extra few dollars to support Australian business anyway. :P Quote

Depends where you look too. Edited August 12, 2009 by seabiscuit Quote
