Sintrix
Hello everyone Ive been looking at getting a new steering wheel for my 1991 Ae94 Ultima. I read that you need a Boss Mounting kit for the new wheels but i can't find any for the Ae94 Do they make them for my car or do i not need one? Cheers :)
Bowler
It'll be the same as the any ae92 corolla. Saas, Autotecnica, calibre (Supercheap Auto brand, sourced through Saas) should all make one. I believe mine was Autotecnica, but it was a few years ago since I bought it. Autotecnica listing: 415 Saas/Calibre: BK-171L Probably will cost you around $80... Edited August 14, 2009 by Bowler
Sintrix
thanks for the help mate, much appreciated. Would a Ae86 Boss mounting kit work on mine cause i can get one for $35 from GK Tech...
Bowler
an ae86 will not fit. not sure about the G Tech, although if it lists it for fitting a corolla between 87 and 93, then it should....but due to my unfamiliarity with the brand, don't hold me to that... Sintrix
Well a friend of mine just gave me a new steering wheel and I'm stripping down my car to change the dash lights so i really want to get this steering wheel mount in at the same time to make it all a lot easier. Does anyone know of any places i could get one for my car thats under $50? Edited August 16, 2009 by Sintrix
Rolla Boy
Try your local markets, Parklea Markets (in Sydney - not sure of your location)... Also try Autobarn, Auto One, Supercheap Auto, etc...
