  1. could you run an inline sensor to the gearbox output, or do you require optical?
  2. You might be able to rewire it, depending on how handy your are. There are various guides on the internet, and it is the same theory behind increasing alternator capacity. I did it to the blower motor in the 36 - and so very glad i did. You can buy the wire from Jaycar for not very much (~$20)
  3. So...now that you've run it in, when are you going to drive it properly? Jokes aside, great build, and congratulations on finishing it! Do you need to change much to get a good base setup?
  4. Could you possibly run it with a one-way valve to hold vacuum, then bypass through the purge solenoid via a couple of tees?

  10. Did Cyprus get the townace/liteace? or carina? They'll be your best bets fo sourcing a 5k/7k (7k might require sump alterations to fit)

  14. With your front shocks; what is the part no as a mater of interest?
  15. So long as the car is deemed safe by the club representative, ie, no structural rust, not leaking oil, good tires, brakes, etc... Then you shouldn't have any problems. That said, apparently vic roads are looking at passing through legislation that will make it mandatory to get a rwc...so best to get onto it sooner rather than later
  16. It was rather entertaining. Tell you what, for the 2km drive back home, felt great. Can't wait to drive it now!
  17. So, after 4 Years of ownership, I finally took Patch to get some new tires and an alignment. The result - fixing the 30mm of total toe out! So turns out this is the very cause of loose steering. The tire guy almost had a fit when i told him that i'd driven it to Geelong this way, HAHA

  21. So just a small update. Bonnet and other body panels have been touched up and painted, Most of the niggling little issues have been taken care of, and its getting a new set of boots on Saturday. Hopefully, I will get it inspected early November! Pics to follow
