comtoy Posted August 23, 2009 Report Posted August 23, 2009 hi i was wondering how many parts from a ra65 celica could be fitted to my KE35 corolla coupe and how easy would it be to fit the celica 5spd manual and 21-rc turbo motor into the corolla as i can get the celica cheap Quote
comtoy Posted August 24, 2009 Author Report Posted August 24, 2009 anyone able to help me want to know if the motor will fit front seats, brakes ,air con, 5spd manual Quote
tas_ae71 Posted August 24, 2009 Report Posted August 24, 2009 you can swap the whole struts/brakes/steering arms over with the ke35 strut tops i believe. 21-rc is a odd conversion.. Quote

SLO-030 Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 Because its not really a common conversion. Most people go for a 4AGE. But there are a few people that are/have put R series engines into corollas before. PM a member by the name of The Witzl. He's doing a 18R turbo into a KE70. Quote
machg Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 The motor should physically fit O.K. but won't bolt onto existing mounts. Ditto gearbox, but shifter hole probably won't line up. Front seats, dunno, air-con would be more hassle than its worth I reckon. Quote
SLO-030 Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 if ya want aircon, there are plenty of Ke30/55's getting around (and in the wreckers) with aircon. Quote
