So i was driving last night, and all of a sudden a rattling/ticking type noise started coming from my engine bay, and now it doesn't run real well like the car jolts when I'm trying to accellerate.

A mate said it could be my Tappets?

 

I'm not sure was just wondering if anyone would have any idea on what it might be.

its the most central lowest pully that the alternator/water pump belt runs on, if it has any free play it will be buggered,

Mine of the 4k is just a whole chunk of one piece metal pulley

Some have a balancer some have a straight pulley.

well i took it to the mechanic and he said it must be internal because theres nothing on the outside he could see that was broken or anything.

anyone want to sell me a 4k or 5k engine ?

lol well yeah, he had a quick 15 min look cause everywhere else was busy all week so i just took it to who ever i could, anyways i threw the engine in the bin nows.
