Hey Mate. The valve clearance for 4ac is:

 

(hot)

Intake - 0.20mm or 0.008inch

Exhaust - 0.30mm or 0.012inch

 

You can buy mitchell on-Demand cd. I got it from ebay for $10 and it gives me every spec and operation on corolla's from 83-2000

Found the clearance for the engine cold.

 

Intake - .18mm .007In

Exhaust - .28mm .011In

 

Much easier cold.
