  4. my diff in my ae71 with 4ac is pretty shagged and i found a ke70 manual diff will these bolt in the same and the brakes fit on from the ae diff? cheers steve-o
  5. it was a tin of chassis black lol, i put a clear on it and we got the settings wrong now is rough gay lol yeh ill need to cut it back and throw another clear over
  6. AE71 [55LDE] Project AE71 Spirit 4A-C 5spd Manual 1.6L Iv had this for about 3 years now and its been sitting in a paddock for like a year and decided to get the old girl back on the road. So whats been done: New exedy clutch kit New timing belt kit New rear main New tappet cover gasket New plugs New air filter New paint job New 2" custom made exhuast Skyline R32 Front seats up grade (yes the bolt in sept 1 bolt just drilled a new hole) New taillights Things to do: Diff it a bit noisy so look into that upgrade the suspension Pics:
  7. YAY its fixed, the problem was the throw out bearing was on the wrong way, cause one side of the bearing has a lil lip and the other side don't. and we had the lip side towards the clutch cover and that was catching on the cover making that loud noise.
  8. is there 2 way that the throw out bearing should go on? cause there is 2 sides to the bearing
  9. never mind :P just ordered some from Toyota they has some in stock right there lol got quoted on a release bearing $90! what a rip!
  10. we did find when we took the gearbox off one of the clips that holds the throw out bearing onto the fork had come off. We put this back on and bolted her back up and was running good for about 5 min then the noise came back. could be the clip has fallen off yet again not sure :P
  11. how do u adjust this when its hydraulic? Yeh she drives sweet !
