so basically bought some brand new rear shocks from Ajaypess today, jacked the car up, i have no idea how to undo the top of the shocker(bit that goes into bottom on car not the diff end)

 

need help asap cheers.

From recently doing my rear shockers up on me AE71, its usually with a socket or spanner. Mine has one nut for doing it up properly, than another on top to lock it off. Is the top of the shock hidden behind some piece of interior in a wagon? Or?

the top like dissapears into a plate. and the top of my new shockers just have a thread on the end?

and yea its a wagon dunno if its deiff?

If it's any similar to a ke38 wagon the plate that the shock 'disappears' into at the top can probably be unbolted. In ke38's there's 3 bolts holding it in. Just undo those and the top comes out.

 

If that's not the case then I'd say you might have to pull the rear seat out and have a look underneath and you will probably find a nut that you need to undo to get them out.

brent is right, theres 3 12mm blots holding each plate in, remove those and the plate and shock come out togeather and you can then seperate
