  1. 15 degrees is probably a bit too far advanced! I'd go for around 8-10 degrees dailying, 12 max. Still some air in system? How do you know the head gasket is not leaking? It's pretty hard to have an air pocket in a k motor after changing the coolant, I'm not sure I could do it even if i tried. After everything you have described this is telling me that there are combustion gases getting into the cooling system from a dodgy head gasket.
  2. I pulled the leaf pack from my ke30 apart and flipped the top 2 leaves. Nice ride height and handles surprisingly well. Although they are slowly starting to sag after being in use for 2 years. EDIT: had to remove bump stops for suspension travel..... Lol

    Spotted Qld

Spotted a Kesev on Bermuda st somewhere on goldcoast. Twas a Matt black slant front with white roof? I was in a yellow vintage car. Gave him the thumbs up.
  4. Is that a white 2 door!? I think I spotted you on the eastern on Saturday
  5. Good turnout considering the weather :D
  6. Rofl. I got a pack with 8 sets of ear plugs.... The pipes are here to stay!
  7. I'll try and bust out the ke30 for this one
  8. Get a lancer! Good reliable little cars! Quite cheap these days too
  9. One of my cars passed a roadworthy inspection with fender mirrors. Lol.
  10. We took a car in on the trade plate last year lol.
  11. Change on the 1st post of this thread too? We don't want people rocking up on the Friday lol
  12. Lol farrrk I thought we were going on the Friday. You better fix that up on Facebook too lol
  13. Hold onto that Kia and enter it in 30 years haha
  14. I'll pay mine next time I see you Evski. Can buy drinking water quite cheaply in those plastic 10 litre containers and then just get disposable cups? Maybe a list of what people should bring would be helpful? For example; tent, esky, beers etc...
  15. Late January or early February could work?
  16. I'll explain my setup a bit more clearly... I'm running sigma arms without the stopper on the actual lower control arm itself. But have left the stopper bit on the steering arm as it was. I have been running this setup for almost 6 months now and have had no problems whatsoever.
  17. Sigma arms don't have the stops either. I don't reckon you really need them. Also gives awesome steering lock without them.
  18. I have recently put Sigma LCA's into my ke30 and it's the best thing I have ever done to the car. Gave it around 2.5 degrees of camber. The taper is slightly larger on the sigma ball joints but it's not enough to worry about. They still bolt up fine. You will need to take a few mm off the bushes and crush tube in order to get them to fit. You can just get away with using the stock tie rod tube(using around 25-30mm of thread) but for peace of mind ra40 tubes would be the go. Good luck! EDIT: Max out your castor at the same time as doing this and you will be high on life.
