hey guys just need some help i just bought an AE86 ADM with a 4AGE 16v the wiring is a bit all over the place which dosen't make it any easier, but

took it out for a spin the other day and it just started spluttering and didn't want to idle any one got any idea what i could do its just had brand new leads, plugs and diz cap fitted, any help appreciated:)

I've owned a few 4age powered machines in the past, without being there to hear it I can't give you a 100% solid answer.

 

Have you got any idea what cylinder isnt firing?

alright first of all are all 4 injectors plugged in?

are all the plugs in to torque specs?

 

get a timing light onto it

 

is the spark plug black, tanned brown or white when you pull it out?

 

if black too much fuel, if white not enough, if brown then mixture isnt your problem.
