  2. luvin ur ke sedan so fresh and clean :) my mate was to one that bought your wagon i was the chap with him, the wagon is coming up nicely, gave it a basic service oil, filter and front brake pads haha, removed rear bumper as it had backed in to a few to many things and gave it a good clean. next we put on a new timing belt today as the old one was perished, also high pressured/de greased the engine bay come up schmick :), and found out where oil smell was coming from haha the clutch slave cylinder was leaking badly in to the driver foot well/carpet, so pulled out the under lay as it was soaked in clutch fluid but still need to remove carpets and high preasure them. :) she is a work in progress will get pics up soon new clutch master is going in 2moz.
  3. Feck forgot to log out of my broz profile haha.
  4. Hey guys thought i would bring this back from the dead i have just recently sold my JZX100 and got this filthy nissan BNR34 GT-R V-Spec, it is fun to drive but not as fun as my wagon was haha so I'm soon going to be on the look out for another AE71 to start building up :) can't wait to start :D.
  5. hahah @ rocks skid and dog lol, more pics Jesse :blinks:
  6. ^ Triple post hehehe na cheers mate yea didnt have the best of luck but oh well u move on, as for my SSR's I'm not 100%percent shure if I'm going to keep them because I'm thinking of getting an AE95 SR5 which has different stud spacing dam!!!!!! ahhhh if i decide to sell them it will probz be fro round the $1000 mark as they cost me 1,100 all up to buy but thats if i decide to part with them i luv them 2 much atm lol.
  7. Any one want to swap some decent 4x100 pcd wheels for my SSR Mesh 4x114 pcd 15x7+0 all round???? can put cash both ways :jamie:
  8. Ahh crap lol stud changing spacers mabey??? would need bolt on over fenders cuz would be mexican as hell hahaha. or just give it a lift kit, spotties and ralley tyres and go romp stuff hehehehe.
  9. Yes unfortunately after having a chat with my mechanic and him informing me that u can lose your licence for having a plate swapped car, i decided i couldn't afford the risk of going to regency with my current licence status so i had to sell her up on defect. :D but don't worry ther will be another wagz!!! :jamie:
  10. thats what i was thinking, i know a few people have done these up in other states but don't think there is one in SA yet so lets se if i can start a movement haha.
  11. Cheers mate :jamie: there are a few other overrated ke's floating around my area, especially this one beige slant front Hi Cam hopefully i can buy it and restore it to its former glory it looks to be in absolutely immaculate condition.
  12. Very true in the fact that u don't have to go out and spend a lot of money 2 have a cool little car, they are cool and retro just as they are by them selves :jamie:, plus u can enjoy driving around and not have to worry about getting hassled by cops on every street corner. my bro was actually thinking of cutting the springs in it and getting wheels but i convinced him not to because then i would be like every other corolla out there and also these days with Ke's it looks like the more u do to them the more money you loose because every body is trying to find the cleanest stockest not threshed example.
  13. This is my bro's car its quite redicilous in the fact that it has every single receipt form everything thats been done to it even a couple of fuel receipts from when it rolled off the show room floor defiantly the cleanest original condition corolla i have ever seen(ben ur corollas would with out a doubt be just as good if not better)a good little gem worth keeping. :jamie:
  14. The wagz is gone :( sold on defect but have heard rumors that it is getting round still :jamie: so might see it again one day. >| so now what to get next been thinking of an AE95 SR5 wagon to be a bit different, they are an 1.6 4AF EFI AWD and i recon would be a killer little hills warrior with my SSR's on it and lowered with stiffer springs, let me know what u guys think. yay :bash: or ney :D just picture it with my SSR's, low and some roof racks.
  15. I'm probably just going to take my rolla to the inspection centre as is next week some time i had a long hard think bout filling in an engine swap form but then decided I'm not going to, because if they find out that the (it hasnt) engine has never been swapped and I'm trying to cover up the fact that its been plate swapped I'm going to be in big trouble because it will be obvious that i knew it was plate swapped and i am trying to cover it up. So I'm just going to go there a and act dumb if they start doubting things, and see what list they give me and go from there.
  16. Yea i will go to the lonsdale inspection centre, my brother has been to both regency and lonsdale and he said that they were heaps harsher on him in lonsdale(didnt pas him because of half a millimeter of play in upper wishbone in his chaser) but meh they probably didnt like the look of him hahaha. I'm dreading this so much :( but o well i will fill out an engine swap form and hope for the best i guess.
  17. so got to service SA and fill out an engine swap form then take it to get inspected at regency? i though of this bet then the engine number will line up perfectly with the chassis number on the car even though i am stating its had an engine swap?? or do u think i can possibly get away with it??
  18. fark :ninja: I'm done for then, i think my ae71 has been plate swapped the engine number corresponds with the chassis number but the engine number on my rego is different :) what should i do any opinions???
  19. just wondering mate when u went to the inspection center did they check all ur engine/chassis numbers and if they line up and all that???
  20. Sorry to hear about the defect mate hope all goes well. the cops are being the bigest gfsdfkjfdghsdffyd#@#$@$#zkjdldhsf kents!!!!! lately My Ae71 wagon got defected the other week to regency same stuff to low and one of my tires was bald, but i didnt even do anything wrong i was just minding my business no speeding no reckless driving i was even in the left land for god sake and this efn bike cop going the other way to me slammed his brakes on chucked his indicator on and came after me like i was some kind of terrorist, i puled over as soon as i saw him turn around i knew he was coming after me, and he was rude and arrogant he told me that I'm better off taking it to the wreckers and seeing how much i can get for it, i was as polite and as apologetic as i could possibly be and he wasn't having any of it. thanks once again SAPOL for making SA roads a safe place again :) I'm yet to take mine and get it inspected but going by what u said its made me cheer up a bit, hopefully they wont ream me to much, best of luck with geting yours off defect mate miss seeing this wagz around the place. :)
  21. killer wagon mate i love these AE95 SR5's i have a few lined up round my area that i want to buy :) and do a 20V conversion, besides modding the sump a bit what other modifications are needed for the 20v swap? cheers Regards Mike
  22. Not yet cuz its only got 7 and 1/2 inch wide wheels all round but its got a nice stiff ride almost zero body roll which is amazing for a car of its size and weight i need at least some 9inch wide rear wheels and 8inch fronts to be able to put the power to the ground at the moment i just get ridiculous wheel spin lol ;)
  23. I know what you mean, yea my mate is buying all the stuff to get it off defect and paying to get it of defect and buying it off my for $2500 stock as a rock so i tink thats a fairly good deal :bash:. I had a R34 GT-T before i bought my JZX an i must say the chaser is bout as easy to work on as a ke70 compared to the f@$king skyline hahah damn RB25 Neo's hokey engine hahaha. iv had my jzx now for bout 2 years and i still havnt had a problem with it :). I don't intend to mod my JZX much engine wise as it all ready has enough power for daily driving, its almost ready for its 100,000km service so i got all that stuff on the way plus a BLITZ ZS alloy radiator and sard high pressure radiator hoses, I'm going to do all the work my self water pump, serpentine belt, tensioners, thermostat ect, the only thing I'm getting my mechanic to do is the timing belt as i don't trust my self with that yet hahaha. engine/power wise i couldnt ask for more, the thing I'm realy going to go for is handling/suspension mods/tyres it handles like its on rails now and i only have some Tein HR coilovers but i have lots planned for it suspension/handling wise in the future :)
  24. there are a fare few here in SA same with ke70's in general in South Australia probably has the most compared to any other state i would say a mate of mine has offered me $2,500 for the wagon with out my SSR's and with out my alpine stezza so think I'm going to sell it to him. as i don't need 2 cars now that i am keeping the JZX100. If i do get another rolla i think it will have to be an AE95 SR5 wagon and i will go a 4age 20v as its a direct bolt in just have to modify the sump a bit, this will be a hills weapon with the AWD and should slip under the radar (mabey not when i put my SSR's on it hahah) but would be a good little weapon i think. I all ready have a few lined up that i know sit in certain places regularly so if needed will go put my details on them. Here are a few pics of my SSR's on my mates 108sx it sits twice as low now as we put some coilovers in it yesterday and a pick of my JZX in its current status.
  25. +1000,00000 for that hahaha the 1JZ just wants more limiter ;)
