Yea this is BIG BBQ's old wagon that had the star shark's i don't really know what i want to do with it at the moment I'm not really enthused to do anything to it at the moment, i think i will got to the lonsdale inspection center and see how i go but dunno i might be putting it up for sale in a bit to see what i can get for it, as i don't really need it at the moment because i have decided to keep my jzx100. I need to get off my lazy ass and put some effort in hahaha.

O obviously with out those leafs and chopped front springs, I'm putting everything back to stock original form the only thing I'm paranoid bout is it being plate swapped an all.

that would be the street haha, yea the ride is fairly solid good leaf setup on it i was verry happy with the way it handled hope it gets through regency:(

Dam haha o well lol my bro has a stock as a rock ke so i can borrow his seats, and i needed to get new front struts any way because myn had pissed all the fluid out, so the only real thing i need to buy are stock front springs and stock rear leafs and it should be jake :D I'm going to start bogging up some of this surface rust 2moz and just get it clean as i possibly can cheers guys will keep use posted on the progress :D

Their both tuff as f@$k man haha and your roof racks are schmick :D. I have all ready ripped out all my elegal or dodge stuff starting with. STUFF I HAVE REMOVED: Drift button. Meshies now rolling stockies. Novelty horn. Rear speakers that were on the seats. Put cam gear cover back on. Took off all stickers. Removed strut brace. STUFF TO DO/GET: Standard e7 front seats. Standard rear leafs and shockers. New front struts and standard springs. Dodgely fix up some rust just so it looks rust free for the day. Fix reverse lights? i have changed globes but they still don't work might be the switch in the gear box??? will have to have a bit of a play. Go to service SA and fill out an engine swap form before i go to rergency. :( The car is mechanically A1 and dosent have any oil leaks every where is bone dry so hopefully it will be okay the only thing that is bugging me is the fact it has been plate swapped once before but I'm hoping i can get around this with filling out that new engine form because the engine number is the only thing that does not line up with the rego papers.

Okay cheers luke thats what i wanted to know :(. as was said up above if i ring service SA and fill out a sheet saying its had a new engine put in it and then go to regency do you reacon it would be okay? because being a pre 1985 model car it dosent have to display the vin number on the rego papers and it dosent have the vin number on my rego papers i only have an engine number, so as the engine is obviousley not going to match up with the one stated on the rego papers but if i ring up service SA and fill out the forms for an engine swap then as far as i know they wont ever be able to tell if its been plate swaped because they wont find the vin number anywhere on the rego papers only the engine number will be different and it will be stated then on the papers that i have put a new engine in it what u think ( sorry for such a long rant) Regards Mike

Cheers for the info guys, looks like I'm just going to have to try and get it off defect. :P Its been plate swaped I'm fairly shure, but the rego papers(being pre 85 model) dosent have an vin number only engine number and it is different to the number on my actual engine. what do u think regency will have to say about that? do u think i can just act dumb and say that i had no idea that it's had a new engine put in it an they can inspect the so called engine conversion???

Hey guys got sad news it might be time for me to let go of the beloved wagon :bash:, i have a mate that wants to buy it off me minus the wheels and the sound system for a good price on defect so it might be time for the old girl to move on, unfortunately i just don't think i have the money to put it back to stock standard and regency wortheyness atm, plus i could use the money at the moment to do some more stuff to my JZX100 so time will soon seal the wagons fate once again thanks SAPOL :P here is a pic's of my JZX. its currently sporting a white bonnet, white side skirts and a white rear half lip which needs to get sprayed , and i also need to order my 100,000km service parts soonish as it has 90,000km on the odometer, so the money from the wagon will be going to a good cause but nothing will replace the wagz.

Hey guys this has probably been asked a million times but i couldn't find a thread or anything so decided to make a new one, i know u see defected cars for sale all the time is it legal to sell a car on defect or what's the go? any info would be much appreciated. Regards Mike

was just driving down marrion rd this morning 10:30 minding my own business not doing g anything wrong when i spot a cop on a bike going the opposite way to me, he stares me down as he goes past puts his indicator on chucks a u turn and comes after me. i pulled over before he put his lights on because it was fairly obvious he was going to pull me over, so he proceeds to tell me how my car is dangerously low and that i have 1 bald rear tyre and defects me to Regency. After doing so and sticking on the canary he tells me how i should ring up a wrecking yard to find out how much i can get for it because it wont make it back on the road i was like thanks mate. :bash: so there was my incredibaly shit day and my chaser is conviniently of the road atm as well :P , thanks SAPOL for making SA a safer place :(

cheers guys much apreciated :), all the rust has allready been fixed by me and sprayed with toyota gold wattle its identical to the same colour :S the only two spots to do is under the rear vents and i think I'm going to cut it out and weld a new panel in when i find a rust free wagon lol which might be a while hahah. cheers guys

Did a little more work on my rust patches today all in a and around the talegate seale is all like new now not a spot of rust in sight. Now i have to start work on the rust under the rear vents joy. ;) I need to buy some new front shocks as myn have no more fluid in them and it's bouncing around like a f@$k haha, and some new rear tyres as they are starting to look a bit sorry fro them selves haha.

its straight from the ghetto haha, its a slammed rolla wagon with mesh its simply ballin!!! haha :P

What i did to my surface rust was just chipped out as much of the loose rust as i could then wire brushed it, sanded it and then applied 2 coats of rust converter, i let the rust converter dry then lightly sanded the rusty patches again to give to bog sumthing to stick to, i then applied a light layer of bog. After it dried i just sanded it till it was smooth and blended it in with the rest of the body work, then i applied some primer surfacer and some colour coded spray and presto good as new hahahaha.

haha cheers man yea thats what i want to do just need to find some and calipers, discs and whack them in. I was thinking of getting some of the AJPS coilover struts but their fairly pricey.

Took the old rolla up to York's on the long weekend it got 900km out of a tank and a half, and it was revving at 4000rpm in 5th gear haha. whilst i was up there i managed to destroy as many grass patches as possible hehehe good fun lol. And this was also driving behind me on the way home and then parked next to me at the servo OMFG!!!!
