okay so i pulled the diff apart today and soon to start cleaning it up and then put paint on it and put it back together

here are some pics of the wheel bearings on the axles they need replacing

 

 

 

 

not much of an update at all basically waiting for some money for parts

i am soon to have the following parts

• doors
  
• guards
  
• bonnet and boot
  
• diff
  
• front struts with brakes
  
• gearbox
  
• tailshaft
  
• dash
  
• instrument cluster
  
• front light assembly
  
• possibly motor
  
• front and rear windscreens
  
• all body trims
  

slowly progressing i managed to get most of the parts i need to make the car look complete just missing a few things

i managed to get the spare diff i got installed as well as the front suspension and its now has wheels on it instead of beening on the ground yay i will post pics another day also slowly working on the body more

It's coming together man slowly i wanna see this thing painted bud but as i've said to you before man concerntrate on one aspect of the car 1st man learn from my mistake with my black rolla bud, starting to think it may have been worthwhile selling all the parts off my old celica to make one car out of two aye, when i get back from melbourne i'll swing round and we'll rip into it abit more :thumbsup: and i'll come get my random shit out of my celica bud, lookin forward to seeing the progress of it over christmas

justins old celica has been stripped to a shell and i know have heaps of parts just missing i think one more item an overrated or near overrated front bar

pretty much just need the welding done hopefully soon and then some more body work and then i can start on the mechanical

i took my back window out of my car to find some rust so i will repair it and prime it up basically seening how i have some time off cause it a slow period for my work got given 8 weeks off so i will try and have the car finished then mind you the key word was TRY lol

anyways i found a shifter so my gear box is nearly complete

sorry guys the weeks been busy so i shall try to get pics up by the end of the week

UPDATE TIME

well guys its been a very slow period since christmas as you could imagine but i managed to find nearly every part i needed to get the car where it is now still a bit of body work left to go then its soon to be painted so basically iam filling in any imprefections and well its not going to be the greatest job ever iam trying my best and well i am using a spray gun this time round instead of pressure pack cans

i also have installed my new dash cluster i picked up from ebay and installed my new whiteline panadrod and got the rear kings low springs back from justin and well just put them in the car and there is a slight difference in the height just got to get a motor in and then it will sit lower

this next bit i might get critisim for but iam happy with whats been done as you can see in the pics i have had to patch up a few holes and decided to you fibreglass as the method of choice and well it looks pretty good for my first time using the stuff let me know what you guys think
