johno- sorry for hijacking your thread, its not the shocks and springs! did you check your lower balljoints and lower control arm bushes?

 

when there doing your wheel alignment ask them to have a quick look at your balljoints

 

please don't replace stuff that isn't needed! diagnose it instead of replacing things HOPING that you fix the problem!

bah the stuff isn't that exxy and besides more than likely everything is really old and could do with a freshen up.

steering componants are sooo often neglected.
